Grab your friends and family and Register a team for Edgemere Sparrows Point Rec Council's Second Earth Day Blitz, Community Cleanup Event to be held on 5/4/25!
Each competitive team must include 1 Adult Team Captain Age 21+ and may have up to 6 Registered child participants. Start time is flexible, but teams will meet with their trash at Fort Howard Park by 11:30am. (If assistance is needed to move the trash, a phone number will be provided)
Teams will compete in multiple categories including (but not limited to):
Non-Competitive registrants can choose to collect trash on their own and bring to Fort Howard by 11:30am OR they can meet at Fort Howard Park at 9:30 am to help plant native plant seed balls for participants to take home.
All participants and volunteers will meet at Fort Howard Park after the event to turn in trash at 11:30 am, announcements of winning teams and a celebratory Pizza Party to follow!
Team captains will meet on 5/1 for supply pickup. 6:00pm at the Rec Room in Edgemere Elementary School.
